In general, these awards will be directed toward contributions in the Computer Industry, which is my main area of specialization. However, given the fact that 2001 was probably the worst overall year for the world since my birth, I will (hopefully exceptionally) venture into politics in giving some awards.
The contrary of a Boohiss award is a Bravo award is a statement of my personal recognition of the work and attitudes of others. Here in Switzerland they are typically called the Rose Awards.
