Bravo Awards for 2003

General

A Bravo award is a statement of my personal recognition of the work and attitudes of others. Here in Switzerland they are typically called the Rose Awards.

The contrary of the Bravo Award is the BooHiss Award, also known as the Cactus Awards here in Switzerland. This award is given to those who I feel have done a major disservice during the year.

In general, these awards will be directed toward contributions in the Computer Industry, which is my main area of specialization. However, 2003 was probably the worst overall year for the world since my birth. It was even worse than 2002, something which I would have never imagined. Things are so bad that I find no comments for below.
