ipchains Masquerading rules
Fortunately, the masquerading rules are much simpler than
the firewalling rules. They could even be combined into a single
script. For purposes of completeness, I include my masquerade
script here. Assuming it is placed in your /etc/rc.d
directory, this script is called from your /etc/rc.d/rc.local
script at boot time with as follows:
/etc/rc.d/masquerade # turn on masquerading
To use it, you will need to modify the LOCALNET, IFEXTERN, and
IFINTERN statements to correspond to your network.
Note, the download contains firewall, ip, masquerade, firewall.blocked, and check.firewall.hourly.
